Hello everyone,

I am new to Linux and now have to start learning the Kali Tools and functions for work. I am familiar with the concepts but have not use this tool set. Solid networking and admin experience since the days of Novell, but I have been a manager way too long and now, by choice, I am getting my hands in the game directly.

I have an MSI GT72s 6QE Dominator Pro and I successfully installed Kali, however I am missing a ton of drivers; specially the one for my network card (Killer E2400)

Can someone please recommend me a few videos and/or resources that will go into the 101 post installation? I have been searching for days and can't find anything like it.

I work in Cambridge and would be happy to meet anyone who can help me get going.

I hate to sound needy in this forum, I promise to pay it forward!

It is great to be back to a new beginning.

yours, TotallyNew.

Hi Totally New,
You are not totally new as you have a lot of experience since Novel. Most users doesn't know what is Novel and how it works :)
for your your request about post installation I can only suggest to read here on forum
Community Generated How-tos and Kali Linux General Use
there you can find a lot of useful things.
There is nothing special about post installation steps.Like in any other Linux distro, but one thing I will recommend to check source list
http://docs.kali.org/general-use/kali-linux-sources-list-repositories
also about your problem with network card read this
http://www.killernetworking.com/support/knowledge-base/17-linux/21-killer-e2400-in-linux-ubuntu-debian

also if you have any other problems with hardware just look for Ubintu users how they solve it if you can not find it on Kali side.
