View Full Version : Need help with Nexus 7 (2013) and Nethunter 3.0

So it's been a long sad story so far...

I have tried numerous different things, ranging from flashing the stock image for lollipop and marshmallow, and then installing nethunter, and so far, it works for a little while but then the tablet starts to become unstable, with "Unfortunately, XXXXX has stopped" which makes the tablet eventually reboot, and sometimes go into a boot loop.

Anyone else seen similar behavior?

Thanks!

Replied in the TP-Link WN-822 thread you posted on as well.

Same build as yours, this setup is fairly stable for me:
Nexus 7 Razor
Stock build mmb29o
Nethunter flo marshmallow (from here https://www.offensive-security.com/kali-linux-nethunter-download/)

Pretty much followed the procedure outlined here:

https://github.com/offensive-security/nethunter-LRT

But I had to rename a few files as the scripts didn't do it. The output indicates which files weren't found.

Also, if memory serves, I had to select the custom load screen, otherwise the install completes "successfully" but the device won't boot into Nethunter and fails to the boot loader.
