Nvidea graphics driver headers problem

I have been trying to download a graphics driver for a week now. This is what happens when i try to get the headers

root@kali:~# apt-get install -y linux-headers-$(uname -r)

I know i have a nvidea graphics card
I have tried to apt-get dist-upgrade but it doesn't help
I am running kali linux off a flash drive
I have also tried editing the repositories back to normal
pls help
