Hi there!
I want to add a buton in the top panel for wicd.
I tried to do so installing "MMOD-panel" that says that it allows to

▸ Add a button to the panel in place of the activities link, using an icon of your preference.
https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/898/mmod-panel/
the extension is properly installed but i don't see any option to add a button :(
There should be a folder where to place a *.desktop file and another folder with a *.xml extension file to configure the top panel
But I can't find them...
Does anyone knows which folders it could be?
Does anyone know how we can add a button in the top panel with the damened GNOME 3 form kali linux ? :D

Hi zimmaro
Thanks you very much for answering :)
Unfortunately that's not exactly what i would like to do...
I would like to leave the lateral panel where it is and replace the network manager button by a wicd one or a t least I would like to be able to add a wicd button in this area :
