Hello,
i recently downloaded fresh version of kali of 2.7gb .I have created a live usb.
Now when i run live kali ,there is proper sources files in sources.list in /etc/apt i.e two latest packages files
"deb http://http.kali.org/kali kali-rolling main contrib non-free"
"deb-src http://http.kali.org/kali kali-rolling main contrib non-free"
all thing went good.
BUT when i dual booted it and installed in a partition with window after instalation all files are missing from /etc/apt/sources.list instead there are two lines written in comment form followed by a #.So i am unable to install my header as package is missing so cant install wifi driver too.
Pls help me ..

use google to find how to add text in file and save it in folder that you want.
and of course read this
http://docs.kali.org/general-use/kali-linux-sources-list-repositories
also good option is just to read source list

# For source package access, uncomment the following line
# deb-src http://http.kali.org/kali kali-rolling main contrib non-free

it means remove # from the beging
