I have installed kali linux on oracle vmware virtual box. The installation was completed successfully. When i boot the machine after installation and after selecting kali linux from the menu i get a plain black screen with the cursor at the top left corner of it, after which nothing is happening. I have provided enough RAM and storage memory for the machine to work properly but it still stops on plain black screen on booting.can anyone help?
