Problem: every now and then my VPN gets disconnected. When I'm in front of my workstation I just reconnect it, but often I'm not in front of it and I want it to auto-reconnect, unless the server is down and it wont reconnect anyway.
Is there easy solution for this?
I'm using OpenVPN with Kali 2016.1

Trying nm-connection-editor and forcing VPN on the interface. Will report in 12-24 hours if there's no change, if I'm not reporting, the issue is solved.
