My Alfa card isn't working right. I tried vmware but the issue is the exact same, here's my issue.

My alfa card works sometimes on managed mode, but using airmon-ng, or any method to go onto monitor mode, trying to iwlist will say "Operation not supported", and sometimes on managed mode it says "Device or resource busy". I have the drivers for my host and it works on there. Please help me resolve this issue!

MODEL: AWUS036NH

Anyone got a solution or at least drivers?

**ANY INFO / HELP YOU CAN GIVE IS GREATLY APPRECIATED**

1. Yes, I am able to connect to the internet, I am on wireless but it is shown as wired. My alfa card can get on wifi aswell, and it's shown as wireless
2. I'm on the Acer Aspire E5-573G-56RG laptop. Link to that: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014J7YEH4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
3. When I get onto monitor mode, i use airmon-ng check kill, then airmon-ng start wlan0
Screenshots wont work, ill send links to where they are.

I'm using the RTL8187 driver for my Alfa. Does Airmon & Airodump work locally on your laptop?

It does work only if I type in airodump while on managed mode, then go in monitor mode with airmon, however iwlist doesn't work, and if the interfaces name is wlan0mon it won't work, and wlan0mon happens when i don't type airodump on managed first then go onto monitor. For whatever reason that's the case
