View Full Version : Kali Linux Dual Boot Mac (Wifi Configuration Issue)

I've installed Kali Linux (Dual Boot) on my Macintosh PC Mid 2013 El Capitan, and I can't get Wi-Fi to work. Note: I skipped the "set up a network mirror" during the installation process because I couldn't use ethernet at the time, but I edited sources.list later on. Now, I tried using the so-called "compat" wifi driver. I did that "make load","make unload" thing and wlan0 and wlan1 finally popped up. However every time I shutdown/restart Kali, I have to do the make load/unload process thing again. Enough of the details, here's the problem: Both wlan0 and wlan1 say "unavailable", and it cannot scan for my Wi-Fi. I can do the ifconfig to show you if need, but if I don't do the load/unload it will be lo and eth0 as expected, if I do the load/unload process, it will show the wlan0 and wlan1 on ifconfig (I don't know if it's normal but both of them one line below them say "Ethernet"). Help?

PS: Intel Broadcom Driver
