Hi all,

don't know if this is the appropriate place for this, but I believe the 32-bit direct download link on www.kali.org/downloads may be faulty. Firstly the table says the file size is 2.6 GB, while the file I actually downloaded was 2.8 GB. Secondly, I verified the SHA1SUMS to the best of my ability (I'm not an expert admittedly) and got a bad response. I of course verified the SHASUMS.gpg with the SHA1SUMS file and then proceeded to verify the SHA1SUMS.gpg against the kali image I had downloaded and got this response:

c:\Users\MisterSir\Downloads>gpg --verify SHA1SUMS.gpg kali-linux-2016.1-i386.iso
gpg: Signature made 03/22/16 04:41:12 Central Daylight Time using RSA key ID 7D8D0BF6
gpg: BAD signature from "Kali Linux Repository <[email protected]>" [unknown]

This could just be an error on my part, but I believed it would be best to let people much more knowledgeable than me confirm that

Thanks!

Have you tried downloading the file again. Maybe through a torrent client?
