Hi.

I am using Nethunter on my Nexus 7 Wifi with TP-Link WN722n.
I am able to see it in lsusb and it shows up as wlan1 but there is no power on it.
See below what cable I am using. Do I need to get the cable thats also needs to be plugged in to power?
I thought the one I am using should work because i enabled Y-cable charging.

Sorry for gramatical errors, english is not my main language.

lsusb:

Bus 002 Device 002: ID 0cf3:9271 Atheros Communications. Ic AR9271 802.11n

iwconfig:

wlan 1 IEE 802.11bgn ESSID:off/any
Mode:Managed Access Point: Not-Associated Tx-Power=0 dBm
Retry long limit:7 RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
Encryption key:off
Power Management: off

Kali services: Ycable charging up

Cable:

Thanks in advance.

So i read about that the kernel could be the problem.

My Android verision is: 5.1.1

Kernel is:
3.1.10-Bricked-v0.591-g0a2e5f6

Does it support y cable powering?

As I have stated somewhere else......
ifconfig wlan1 up
:)
