How to configure gdm3 on kali 2016.2?

Hi, for example if we want to have a screen boot same lightdm with the user icon, how to configure gdm3?
I have tried with gedit /etc/gdm3/greeter.dconf-defaults or gedit /etc/gdm3/daemon.conf but nothing.

After you edited the files did you run:

dpkg-reconfigure gdm3
For the changes to take effect?
