Hi All,

I tried to install NetHunter using the Image from Kali Nethunter Download Page, I'm using TWRP as recovery, but everytime I tried, I was stuck in Boot Loop.

Then I tried using CM13 as base System and flashed the my own Build of NetHunter.

Wich is better ?

The image have anything more than the Build I made ?

Sorry for my English (I'm Brazilian)

My device: Nexus 5

Thanks in advance!

Hello Marcio,

I suggest you to just download the Kali Nethunter Nexus 5 Marshmallow from the link https://www.offensive-security.com/kali-linux-nethunter-download/ rather than build it yourself (unless you really know what you're doing).

Using CM13 or stock Android 6.0 installation process are just same. I would recommend you to use CM13 as system OS. (as it has more customization over the stock Android)

Please read the Kali Nethunter installation process in GitHub wiki:https://github.com/offensive-security/kali-nethunter/wiki

Usually people stuck at boot animation after successful install kali Nethunter is because the rooting process are not done properly (or possibly the root is lost). Try to re-root back the device from fastboot mode. and see if it going.

*note: if you stuck at Kali Nethunter installation, try to install using CWM instead of TWRP.

The kernel in cm13 does not support nethunter right now. I just dropped down to cm12 and it installed without errors.

Running a nexus 10 with cm12 and homebuilt nethunter 3.15

Even better would be to update kernel to 5.0 and use cm 12.. Updating busybox and installing multiROM helped some people too :)
