Did you install a nethunter kernel after you installed nethunter ROM?

You didn't mention your device, build or kernel so I'm assuming you're not sure or didn't get another kernel besides the one in the nethunter installer (no disrespect meant) but those things help a lot. In my exp. Things like WiFi OTG, HID and definitely wifite just to name a few don't exactly work until you installed an updated kernel. The one that comes with the installer personally has given me tons of problems. Not sure if it was improved because I don't use the installer I manually flash the generic-full-armfs zip

Only thing else I can think of ATM is try enabling monitor mode from the nethunter app in "custom commands" section also look in the macchanger option and see if your macs come up I'm pretty sure when wlan1 Mac does not show up its a kernel issue.

Also did you try "ifconfig wlan1 up"?
I'm no pro at this so I could be mistaken but that's what I would do to trouble shoot it. Hope this helps, best of luck.

what is the output to ifconfig -a when the adapter is connected?
