Wifite stucks on "scanning for wireless devices..." :/

Hi there,

I recently installed Nethunter on my new phone.
No problems there, and everything (like macchanger) worked fine. Then I tried to run wifite with my TL-WN722N
Wifi Antenna (Supports monitor mode), but wifite stucks while searching:

Any ideas why? Something with the drivers? I am running Nethunter on the S6 edge, might has to do something with that, but everything else works fine!

try turning monitoring mode for your interface manually and then run wifite

you probably now how but just in case

run:

ifconfig to confirm your interface name, most likely wlan1

then:

airmon-ng wlan1 start

or:

iwconfig wlan1 down
iwconfig wlan1 mode monitor
iwconfig wlan1 up

then run your wifite again

Thanks for your help. I tried this but now I know the problem: It does not even show the connected antenna only Wlan0! :/


I have the same problem . Did you find why it doesn't work?

What device have you got? Just wondering!
