I update my 8 days old snapshot of Kali Rolling 64-bit runs in the latest VirtualBox on Ubuntu 14.04 as a host but I have problem with vboxguest modules after dist-upgrade.
dmesg says "vboxguest: disagrees about version of symbol module_layout"
I did not do a big change on my system for a long time. I always follow these steps to update:
apt-get update, apt-get dist-upgrade -y, apt-get install -f, apt-get autoremove --purge, apt-get clean, reboot
