Computer Model: Dell Inspiron 5737
Runing (on Dual boot configuration with windows 10): 4.9.0-kali3-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.9.18-1kali1 (2017-04-04) x86_64 GNU/Linux

After dist-upgrading to Kali Rolling the 2 fingers tap style (right click tap) on the touchpad has stopped working.

At first the touchpad scrolling didn't work either but I managed to fix it after searching the forum (https://forums.kali.org/showthread.php?221-Touchpad-Synaptics-Tapping-issue-Solved&p=70592&viewfull=1#post70592) the two fingers tap however is still not working as it used to.

It's also should be mentioned that there is only a tab for "Mouse" settings in the "Mouse & Touchpad" setting, as the tab for the "Touchpad" settings isn't shown there as it should be.

I've already tried to use

modprobe -r psmouse
modprobe psmouse proto=imps

But after doing so the touchpad scrolling has stopped working again
I've also tried to dist-upgrade to the latest 2017.1 release (https://www.kali.org/news/kali-linux-20171-release/) but the touchpad problem still remains unchanged.

synclient -l outputs:
