ello there,
I'm trying to enable the monitor mode on a galaxy core plus gs350, with rom cynamod11, the wifi chipset broadcom 4330 , kernel 3.4.5, kali linux installed on android with linux deploy.

i've tryed many option i found on internet , the best looks like this one in this link (http://wiki.debian.org/wl) , which for me is not working.
when i run the first command, apt-get install linux-image-$(uname -r|sed 's,[^-]*-[^-]*-,,') linux-headers-$(uname -r|sed 's,[^-]*-[^-]*-,,') broadcom-sta-dkms

the answer is unable to locate package linux-image-3.4.5

do you have any idea how to fix it?

thanks
john

wl is a closed source driver and I don't think you'll get monitor mode on that chipset at all.

Your best bet is to use NetHunter (if it is available for your device) with a TL-WN722N ($13 on Amazon).

Hi mister x , thanks for your answer, but there should be a way to load the driver for bcm4330 on kali Linux. Which is a fresh installation within linux deploy for android. I'Ve tried to install wl with command apt-get install wl but is not working.
I'm wondering, there should be a way to load the wifi!

What other device do you suggest for using the wireless in kali on android?
Nexus 10 tablet?
