Hi. I write them because when I am using Kali Linux, mainly the Firefox browser, the screen goes blank and today I notice that the keyboard is no longer detected by the computer. When I connect and disconnect the mouse and keyboard, I notice that the screen goes from white to yellow.

I leave some photos I take.

The data on my computer is.
Mother: AMD Athlon 64 bit Dual Core.
Operative system: Kali GNU / Linux Rolling 64bits. Version 2017.1
Hard disk: 1 terabit.

I leave the links of the photos

When your screen goes out, can you get to a console boot prompt with Ctrl+Alt+F3?

Any errors in the output of dmesg, or in /var/log?

Hi grid. Pressing Ctrl + Alt + F3 will not do anything. Also on screen does not show me any error as it is left blank, as seen in the image.

I'm reluctant to follow links, but your description makes sense :)

Ok, so whatever is happening is fatal. Can you run Kali live on this machine from a bootable image? Did an older install of Kali work on this machine?

Hi grid. I had installed a previous version to Kali Linux 2017.1, if I was not mistaken it was Kali 1.10, I spent exactly the same, for that reason I decided to install from a DVD to the new version and the problem remains the same.

Not sure I follow part of your post. Can you boot this machine from a USB or DVD image of Kali, and run Kali in live mode?

In the end the problem was in environment (version) that is installing. Now install another environment and it works 10 points.

Glad you got it working :)
