Hello everyone,

I've just installed a Kali Linux on a USB Stick according to this tutorial https://docs.kali.org/downloading/kali-linux-live-usb-install

But the problem is, when I'm trying to run it, it keeps checking things and I finally get this message : "A start job is running for live-config contains the components that configure a life system during boot process (late userspace) xx min/unlimited time". I waited for 10, 20 minutes but nothing.

If anyone can help me out, I would be grateful.

Thanks a lot!

try this simple thing...go toterminal and type -apt-get update(in kali terminal as a root user)
or try the command - apt-get upgrade.

I ran Kali on failsafe mode and put on the command in the terminal. Doesn't work, I still got the same problem.

Hi,

I am having this exact same problem you described. I am running windows 10. Have tried multiple USBs, downloading the Kali ISO file multiple times, verified it successfully, tried various tools for writing the ISO to the USB, such as, Win32DiskImager and Rufus. Close to giving up with it, surely there must be a solution to this?
