I was looking for a usb network card to use with aircrack but I wanted something really small and I found a usb one with no antenna which has this chipset (rtl 8188)
I want to know if it supports monitoring and packet injection or not, is there a usb wifi card with no antenna that supports that?
The card I'm talking about: https://egypt.souq.com/eg-en/150-mbps-mini-usb-wifi-wireless-lan-802-11-n-g-b-adapter-for-pc-laptop-7003473/i/
another card that doesn't list it's chipset: https://egypt.souq.com/eg-en/mini-usb-wifi-wireless-adapter-network-lan-card-802-11n-7290677/i/
and if there are no cards without antennas that support monitoring and packet injection will this one work? (Ralink RT5370 chipset): https://egypt.souq.com/eg-en/mini-150mbps-usb-wifi-802-11n-wireless-network-networking-card-lan-adapter-with-antenna-6835694/i/

-Thanks!

There are a bunch of rtl8188 chipsets and they might not all be supported, check the linux-wireless wiki to find out.

If you want to search for USB cards that support injection, check out ath9k_htc, carl9170, rtl8187 drivers in wikidevi and then search for each adapter to see if it has an antenna or not.

Well, on the linux wireless wiki, there is only one rtl8188 chipset which is rtl8188ee and it has question marks on the fields, so pretty much useless

Plus even after reading this https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/documentation/modes I still dont get what fields must have a yes to indicate that that chipset is capable of packet injecting, which one is it? [cfg80211, AP, IBSS, mesh, monitor, PHY modes]

injection is part of monitor mode. However, monitor mode can be working but the card is sometimes not capable/allow you to inject packets.

So there is basically no way of me knowing that this https://egypt.souq.com/eg-en/150-mbps-mini-usb-wifi-wireless-lan-802-11-n-g-b-adapter-for-pc-laptop-7003473/i/ supports monitoring and packet injection other than buying it and trying, right?

Pretty much. Unless you know someone else who has that exact same adapter
