I have Kali on USB Flash Drive and i can connect to Wifi but its really slow: 1 - 13mb/s but when i normally boot in to Windows the speed is 240mb/s+.

Kali version: 2017.2 64bit
PC: Thinkpad T410 with Intel Core i5-560M, Intel HD Graphics, 4GB DDR3 RAM
WiFi card: Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6200 AGN

Friend had an idea to use 32bit version instead but i dont think it will help.

I new to Linux in general but i am reading the Kali Linux Revealed book because i figured out it would be a good way to start :D

Any suggestions on whats the problem?

How did you measure the speed? Or did you just look at what the tools are displaying?

Not being to connect to any website can indicate a number of networking issues: DNS, routing, etc.

So, you're saying that on Windows, you get 240mb/s+ on speedtest.net?

That looks like the problem with your internet connection and not with kali. How do you measure your internet speed in kali when you can't access internet.

In kali I just looked in to WiFi settings. I tryed it again today and same results conected to WiFi looked into WiFi settings speed is about 13mb/s and when i launch FireFox it just shows error: server not found. The Kali web page loads but every other page doesnt. Even home page didnot load. Turn of Pc boot to Windows connect to same router WiFi working just fine. Am I missing something or am I just plain stupid?

The speed you are looking in wifi settings is the link speed with your router. That's not your internet speed. Your router is not connected with the internet.

The kali web page is saved offline so it loads each time you open firefox.
