Hello, Happy Halloween. i,ve been trying diff kinds of roms but can't install kernel without hangging at oneplus Logo.

cm-13.0-20160506-UNOFFICIAL-onyx.zip
cm-13.0-20161219-NIGHTLY-onyx.zip
cm-13.0-ZNH5Y-20170325-STABLE-Sultan-onyx
MoOS_3.7_Aroma.zip
And im using OnePlusXOxygen_14_OTA_019_all_201611071506_03f73e2 1449d4d31.zip now without the kernel. Works great except not using the nethunter kernel so i cant use the other features.

Steps Taken.
Via TWRP

Wipe All
Install rom and gapps except on official oos 3.1.4
reBoot and setup for first use..
Reboot again
Reboot to recovery
Install Nethunter Fs (nethunter-generic-armhf-kalifs-full-rolling-2017.10-20171013-0449.zip)
Reboot and start kali app and terminal allow all permissions
Reboot again
Then reboot recovery and install kernel-nethunter-oneplusxcm-marshmallow-2017.10-20171013-0449.zip then reboot

Then im stuck at 1+ logo. Waited for more than 30mins.

Do you have a specific rom that works perfectly with the current release? Thanks

I don't have a OnePlus X and I don't think it's the solution. But:

Install the Nethunter-Kernel before the chroot!

Try Phreya's files!

I'm sorry, can't help. There are already two threads:

https://forums.kali.org/showthread.php?29581-Will-the-OnePlus-X-be-supported/
https://forums.kali.org/showthread.php?30159-Oneplus-X-nethunter-on-Oxygen-2-2-0-request!!

Maybe Phreya will help you there.

i got my Nethunter Oneplus X E1005 including TP-Link WN722N. Here on how i got it working. Including the actual files I used.

1. Downgrade to the old boot loader. https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=69170103&postcount=45

2. Flash CM13 https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=24421527759885812 its important to use the TWRP version stated above. (You can install Gapps pico in this step but i installed gapps after confirming that it works perfectly).

3. Reboot and finish android initial setup then enter developer mode and enable USB debugging and Advance Reboot. Next reboot to recovery again.

4. Flash the latest NethunterFS https://build.nethunter.com/nightly/2017.10-20171013-0449/nethunter-generic-armhf-kalifs-full-rolling-2017.10-20171013-0449.zip

5. Reboot then start Nethunter app and Nethunter Terminal ALLOW ALL PERMISSION requests. Reboot to recovery again.

6. Flash Phreya's kernel https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=24533103863140599

That's it. Took me almost a week to get it right. I would like to thank mstrmnn for pointing me to the right direction, Phreya for the kernel, aswinr64 for the rom and a big thanks to the nethunter developers, the xda forum android community thank you.
