Just wondering if anyone is having problems making the nvidia video card drivers work with latest kali persistence boot via usb with laptop, thanks.

I think the nvidia driver does not work with persistence mode.

Ya, seems so, ok thx for the confirmation. I was going to give it another shot with the latest weekly image but I think I will wait for something concrete.
