Hello,

Lubuntu has begun making strides by offering a potential flavor for their particular distro and it involves using a LXQt-based DE.

With that in mind, would it be possible at all that Kali would also offer this DE over LXDE in the future?

I currently have Kali loaded on a USB for troubleshooting (amongst other things) but don't like LXDE entirely.

In the end, I feel forced to use LXDE (as it's uber light-weight) but I would feel good about an official switch to LXQt.

Disclaimer: I am not all that knowledgeable in the referenced projects. My understanding of Lbuntu's new flavor (AKA Lubuntu Next) is that it will be using a new DE that closely mimics LXDE with improvements.
