xfce4 RDP on Wondows 10 WSL

I have installed Kali Linux on Windows 10 WSL per instructions and tried running the xfce4 RDP from the page here (https://www.kali.org/news/kali-linux-in-the-windows-app-store/). When the RDP service is started I can log into it, but the screen is blank and after a log wait get the "problem giving up, some problem" error message. It worked once fine, but that was it.

I have the same problem. I tried disabling my anti-virus/firewall but I still had the same issue. I have twice run the failed install and reset/reinstalled but have the same issue each time.

And help would be appreciated.
