I cannot find the Metasploit module "Java 7u17 Applet Reflection Type Confusion" in msf of Kali Linux.

Details:
metasploit v4.6.0-2013041701 [core:4.6 api:1.0]
1091 exploits - 683 auxiliary - 181 post
298 payloads - 29 encoders - 8 nops

When I do "msfupdate" I get "no updates found"

I have done "apt-get update" and "apt-get upgrade".

Anyone else facing the same issue?

the version on the kali repos still don't have that exploit, you can try the kali's bleeding edge repos (http://www.kali.org/kali-monday/bleeding-edge-kali-repositories/) or just download that specific module

Just go to:

exploit-db.com and download the rb file for it and drop into your metasploit folder (ie) windows/multi/browser/exploitname.rb i think (location) i did it myself a while back but not on my kali at the moment it is then available.

Kind Regards Dee

Thanks for the reply. I got the exploit to work. But "msfupdate" always says "no updates available".

This is my /etc/apt/sources.list
#

# deb cdrom:[Debian GNU/Linux 7.0 _Kali_ - Official Snapshot amd64 LIVE/INSTALL Binary 20130327-17:54]/ kali contrib main non-free

#deb cdrom:[Debian GNU/Linux 7.0 _Kali_ - Official Snapshot amd64 LIVE/INSTALL Binary 20130327-17:54]/ kali contrib main non-free

deb http://http.kali.org/kali kali main non-free contrib
deb-src http://http.kali.org/kali kali main non-free contrib

## Security updates
deb http://security.kali.org/kali-security kali/updates main contrib non-free

And status of msf is this:
=[ metasploit v4.6.0-2013041701 [core:4.6 api:1.0]
+ -- --=[ 1092 exploits - 683 auxiliary - 181 post
+ -- --=[ 298 payloads - 29 encoders - 8 nops

Is the count of exploits of an updated msf is same as what I have written above?

Updates to the metasploit framework will happen automatically.
The repos are updated on a weekly basics (usually on Wednesday or Thursday) to support the updates for Metasploit on Kali.

If you wish for more tools to be updated, don't forget about the bleeding edge repos: Bleeding Edge (http://www.kali.org/kali-monday/bleeding-edge-kali-repositories/)

And please use [ CODE][/CODE] tags around command output.
