hi every one i would like to set up the workspaces, so that the left one would be shown at the external monitor, and the right one would be displayed on the laptop.
but when i plugged my monitor into laptop all what i see is a black screen in the laptop & nothing shows up in the external monitor

btw in earlier version of kali linux it works

i'm using : kali linux 2018.1 on a 32 bits pc
Linux root 4.15.0-kali3-686-pae #1 SMP Debian 4.15.17-1kali1 (2018-04-25) i686 GNU/Linux"

I'm on a PC with dual monitors running Kali 2018.2, and I didn't have to do any configuration; Kali picked up the 2nd monitor. All that being said, I'd try upgrading and see how that works.

Uname -a output from my system is below

Linux kali 4.15.0-kali3-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.15.17-1kali1 (2018-04-25) x86_64 GNU/Linux

:( for me it doesn't work, but I noticed that when I'm using 1 monitor i have an option of multiple workspace .
I think it's a new fetcher in this distribution

All what I see when I try connecting my second monitor is a black screen in the laptop monitor ..... With the mouse pointer

Hmm, I see you appear to be running 32-bit Kali. Have you tried 64-bit Kali?
