Firefox browser only loads Google & YouTube

So this is a bizarre problem I am having. I decided since Kali isn?t compatible with my Dell XPS 13 Broadcom hardware, I?ll just use VMWare to run Kali on my newer desktop.

My Alfa antenna is working with no issues and I can search a Google (but cannot view any links) and YT only. If I try to visit github or Reddit, it acts as if the internet is not working.

YouTube will play videos fine. Just cannot get the browser loading other websites. Any ideas what?s wrong?

FYI all I?ve done is I installed Kali on VM. I tried searching for a solution video, but the video I tried showing to set ?ifconfig - true? in network manager did nothing.

This sounds like a dns resolving issue or maybe a bad dhcp configuration.

have you tired ping and traceroute on the problem sites?
