Gemini 4g Wi-Fi only ethtool failed issue

I have flashed nethunter to the Gemini 4g but when I attempt to use airmon-ng I always get this error

I am looking to find a suitable device for WLAN engineers, and this PDA seems like the ideal candidate. Before I recommend this device to my bosses, I need to make one thing sure though, and for that, I need your help. When running GNU/Linux, can this device's WLAN nic be set to monitor mode? Could someone please try this out for me? I don't have the device myself, but I'll be happy to help if needed.
