I never thought It'd come to this that I'll be posting a query here but I have tried almost everything.
I'm trying to install Kali on my Asus Laptop with 1TB HDD and 12 GB of RAM, I'm doing a basic graphical install with Guided partitioning and using the entire 1TB drive, I won't be having another OS on this one.
When I reach around 87-88% Installation step fails. When I tried installing through text installation, I saw the error that fclose: No space left on device.
I'm pretty sure I selected my 1TB HDD on which to install and not the pen drive. Not sure why this is happening, really need this to be fixed soon as I'll be attempting OSCP and can't do things without this.
Couldn't find any solution online. Anybody faced this issue before?

Are you sure you selected the right device to install on?

How was it partitioned?

Guided, using the entire disk with all files in one partition, or even if I select different partitions for /var /home it gives the same error.

So, what were the different sizes shown by the partitioner before it partitioned it?

try "df -h" in terminal and see if there is a space on another parts of your storage...
