i have a budget of 150$
i am confused between nexus 5, oneplus one or oneplus 2
i know performance wise OP2 is better but i am not sure if about nethunter stability & bugs
in a tweet from offensive security i read that nethunter for is still in beta
OP2 will cost me 85$ & OP1 will cost 68$
nexus 5 is hard to find but i found someone who is selling a heavily used nexus 5 at 45$

i am still considering nexus is because its inbuilt wifi chip support monitor mode (not sure about packet injection, can someone confirm this? )

i know with latest magisk module we can install nethunter on any android device but according to what i read the kernel should support external adapter (assuming inbuilt wifi chip don't support monitor mode, which is true with almost all devices )

PS
can someone tell me even if i convince a dev for building a custom kernel for supporting external adapter what should i ask them exactly ?

I recommend the OnePlus One, it's a premium phone with a large screen and a pretty good battery. Nethunter runs fine.

Is OnePlus 2 supported?

I have a Nexus 5, too, bought it because of internal Monitor Mode, but it is not supported well, it's working with Airodump but not with Kismet. The battery is ugly and the display is tiny. So I don't like the Nexus 5.

I would not buy it, too expensive in my eyes.

I had this exact same question!

Preferably a device which is a phone so that I can take my pentesting device anywhere I take my 'phone'. I've already gotten stopped by a cop because an antenna sticking out of my coat pocket looked suspicious.

I am refurbishing old phones and selling a Galaxy S6 Edge zerolte on eBay with a Nethunter root setup and all instructions to redo it from scratch.
I am not sure if it is allowed here to share the link so I will not do.
Can anyone confirm if it allowed?
