Hi,
I am trying to triple boot my Dell G3 3579 Laptop which already has Windows 10 and Linux Mint Cinnamon running smoothly.
I get the following error when I try to install Kali Linux 64 Bit (installer) version 2020.1 (ISO Image) -
Some of your hardware needs non-free firmware files to operate. The firmware can be downloaded from removable media, such as a USB stick or floppy.
The missing firmware files are:
iwlwifi-9000-pu-b0-jf-b0-46.ucode iwlwifi-9000-pu-b0-jf-b0-45.ucode iwlwifi-9000-pu-b0-jf-b0-44.ucode iwlwifi-9000-pu-b0-jf-b0-43.ucode iwlwifi-9000-pu-b0-jf-b0-42.ucode iwlwifi-9000-pu-b0-jf-b0-41.ucode iwlwifi-9000-pu-b0-jf-b0-40.ucode

iwlwifi-9000-pu-b0-jf-b0-31.ucode iwlwifi-9000-pu-b0-jf-b0-30.ucode
If you have such media available now, insert it and continue.
Load missing firmware from removable media?
No
Yes
I have downloaded the latest iwlwifi file from https://github.com/pop-os/linux-firmware/blob/master/iwlwifi-9000-pu-b0-jf-b0-46.ucode and copied it on a USB drive root. But the Kali installer fails to recognise it and returns the previously mentioned errors.
I have uninstalled the Kali Linux from my laptop and using Kali Live.
