I recently purchased an older model USB-C display, the Asus MB168B

https://www.asus.com/us/Monitors/MB168B/HelpDesk_Download

There are drivers for 64-bit Linux that have this description:

"MB16xB/MB16Ax Series USB Monitor Driver for Linux OS and UbuntuSupport Linux Kernel version between 4.2 and 5.2
Support Ubuntu 19.04, 18.04 and 16.04"

They won't work for Kali, will they?

Why not see if it works? I don't think that it is a very common setup for people here, so the best way to find out is to try.

Kali is based on Debian, so if it works on Debian it should work on Kali. The kernel version might be an issue, so using an older kernel might be necessary.
