Hi,

Ok very new to Raspberry Pi, so forgive me thickness :)

I had a Python Script wrote for me which basically sends me an SMS when my out door security light is triggered. I have a beeper inside that the security light sends a wireless signal too, I wired in a transistor to it which connects to a GPIO pin and ground.

So everything worked perfectly under Raspbian. But since installing Kali Linux its like the GPIO pins aren't working at all. tried reading different articles installing different things but still nothing. I even tried using a different GPIO Pin in the script like 38 but when I run the script it comes back with an error saying: ValueError: The Channel sent is invalid on a Rasperry Pi

can anyone help?
