Hi, I've had some trouble trying to install NVIDIA graphics driver, since it installs correctly but does not load. My system detects my card perfectly fine when I run neofetch or lspci (btw, it is an NVIDIA 940MX). I've tried reinstalling a lot of times, I tried patching xorg config and blacklisting nouveau. And yes, I tried reinstalling it after a complete wipe of the driver. Nothing. Also I tried installing it without any GUI (killing the entire DE, leaving me with just a terminal). Also nothing, the driver doesn't want to load. I really need this to work since I want to use hashcat, but I can't for now.

Do you know what might be causing the problem? Thanks.

i am also searching for a solution to switch to NVIDIA from Intel.. normally in other Linux distros there is a package called prime-select and we can easily switch to NVIDIA with that. i cant find this package in apt in kali. dose anyone know how to switch GPU?

Same issue for me, just like in this thread:
https://forums.kali.org/showthread.php?37711-Official-Kali-docs-to-install-Nvidia-drivers-broke-my-installation
Tried almost everything, but still no luck
Ready to post everything that can help figure out what is going wrong

Any solutions? Please)
