Hello Guys,
I haven't used Linux now for a number of years after using Ubuntu as my only OS for my time at University and on occasions Backtrack , While being off work I thought I'd give Kali and it's security tools ago and learn some Python also.
I am having some real issues with PIP on both a laptop I have installed Linux and the Virtual Box VDI had downloaded from the link on the Kali site. I have the same issue on both.
When I try to run PIP I run PIP I'm told the command is not found. So maybe not it's not installed properly?
I have ran sudo apt-update
Then may iterations of sudo apt install python3-pip, python-pip, pip,
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Package python3-pip is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package 'python3-pip' has no installation candidate
I've read so many articles/youtube videos that I have lost track.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,
