I cannot open terminal in kali linux

Recently I executed the command apt-get full-upgrade. Start the OS normally, but when loading the desktop, the first thing I notice is that the terminal icon changed. Now I can't access it; clicking on it loads it but shows no error and just disappears.

Almost everything that is done in linux needs a console, if anyone could suggest ideas on how to correct this I would appreciate it very much.

Install another terminal such a terminator, alacritty, xterm or urxvt and try to add the icon in the menu, but i don,t recommend using Gnome Desktop because is heavy and low customizable.

Dont use Gnome desktop, better XFCE........

I dont even have any applications and i dont have a terminal, i just have a blank kali linux installed :(
