Hi,

I've been using an Encrypted Persistence Live USB (32GB) for around 7 months now. It worked flawlessly on any device I plugged it in, until today.
I plugged it in my primary laptop (99% of the time the USB is used in this device), and performed
apt update and then
apt upgrade. But after a short while, the display went blank and the laptop stopped taking any input (from keyboard or mouse). I pressed Ctrl+Alt+F1 to go to tty1 to check stuff out, but it kept printing some logs there. I had no other option but to hard reboot (by power button). After rebooting, selecting the Encrypted Persistence option just took me to the Live User mode (even after asking encryption password), and failed to load my settings and apps. Thankfully, I was able to somehow read the partition through the Live mode, and took a backup. But I still can't get around why this happened and what to do to get my apps and settings back as they were.

Any sort of help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
