sir,
i've installed net speed moniter using oolka from google
but i've no longer needed it ... so i removed it ..
but after that i run cmd in my panel
i saw an error 404 not found i tried everything but still i can't solve it please help me
# sudo apt-get update

i had same problem but the issues starts while make upgrade the system. the message was
Hit:1 https://http.kali.org/kali kali-rolling InRelease
i saw in the blog to change the link on sources.list in /etc/apt
from
deb http://http.kali.org/kali kali-rolling main contrib non-free
to
deb https://http.kali.org/kali kali-rolling main contrib non-free
but the issue turns into anther situation the message comes
~$ sudo apt-get update
[sudo] password for raiden:
Hit:1 https://mirror.karneval.cz/pub/linux/kali kali-rolling InRelease
Reading package lists... Done
I tried to re-upgrade but not solved and the new message appeared

Just a few questions so I can understand the situation better. What version of Ubuntu are you using? How did you install it to your computer? Did you do it manually be m by choosing what the "/" (root) folder, "home" folder and swap folder are, or did you let Linux do it automatically? And have you been able to update the machine before?

Just remove the repository with sudo add-apt-repository -r <the repo you want to remove>
