Hi guys,
I'm attempting to run a native install on a portable ssd (so I can take it with me and so it's more secure than live). I did a manual install with encrypted root partition.
I got a grub rescue error =

error: disk `<insert lengthy encryption jargon>' not found.
grub rescue> ls
(hd0) (hd1)
grub rescue> set
cmdpath=(hd1)/EFI/KALI
prefix=(<insert same lengthy encryption jargon>)/boot/grub
root=<insert same lengthy encryption jargon>

If I ls into (hd0) or (hd1) it comes back with file systems unknown.

Any help or advice you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
