I've been struggling with this for a few days and have run out of things to try. I am installing Kali Live to a 15GB USB stick. I am able to perform the initial install fine, but when I get to...
kali@kali:~$ sudo apt update
kali@kali:~$ sudo apt full-upgrade -y
... it gets about 22% complete and stops with the "Error: no more space left on device". I have tried doing this several different ways including creating one and two persistent partitions before AND after the initial install. Nothing seems to work? What am I missing here? I have seen a lot of posts in this forum with this same issue but havent come across a solution yet. Please help! :)
