I'm new to using Kali Linux, and I got this message while booting up debian virtual machine.
Gave up waiting for root file system device. Common problems:
-Boot args (cat /proc/cmdline)
-Check rootdelay= (did the system wait long enough?)
-Missing modules (cat /proc/modules; Is /dev)
ALERT! UUID=06d76b41-21c5-4680-9aff-f7c4d42a714d does not exist. Dropping to a shell!
BusyBox v1.30.1 (Debian 1:1.30.1-6+b1) built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of in-built commands
(initramfs)
I've looked through forum after forum and have no idea. I've never used anything like this before.
