I am using Kali on a ThinkPad laptop in dual-boot with Ubuntu where SUDO APT works
When I try to install something like for exampe:
sudo apt install vlc
i get an error message of:
E: Malformed line 1 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/signal-xenial.list (type)
E: The list of sources could not be read.

I have a stable internet connection and I was previously able to use SUDO APT.
I also tried to install signal and after that i have recieved isses.
I have tried
sudo service ntp restart
and
sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list
But nothing seems to be working.
How do i fix this issue? If it is necessary i can completely reset my kale image.
