Amidst the many successful and answered Waveshare TFT LCD screen help threads I cannot find one for the Waveshare 5.5 inch AMOLED model which is the only one I have sadly.
I see the Re4son-Pi-TFT-Setup tool here (https://github.com/Re4son/Re4son-Pi-TFT-Setup) doesn't include the 5.5 inch screen (nor should it, its not TFT). I have also tried the Waveshare 5.5 inch AMOLED setup instructions here (https://www.waveshare.com/wiki/5.5inch_HDMI_AMOLED)
The instructions say to add the following lines to the config.txt, but to no avail.
max_framebuffer_height=1920
max_usb_current=1
config_hdmi_boost=10
hdmi_group=2
hdmi_force_hotplug=1
hdmi_mode=87
hdmi_timings=1080 1 26 4 50 1920 1 8 2 6 0 0 0 60 0 135580000 3
The screen is 1080p and is HDMI. The screen has power and turns on but the image is distorted beyond recognition.
I'm wondering what else I could try or if there is some added functionality to the TFT tool that I am unaware of.
