Yagi setup

Hi guys,

Apologies if this is completely wrong place to ask..

I've got a Yagi antenna and it's all setup and working, however I point it one direction and get similar results to what I get if I point it in the other direction..
It was a cheaper antenna so expecting it to not be as it claims

However to test it more fully I was wondering if there was something better than Wifite that would update the signal strength a lot quicker so I can hold the antenna and point it specific places to try and pin point when the signal is higher if that makes sense? only ever used wifite so not sure on best thing to use..
