No WiFi during install

I'm installing from a USB stick. When it gets to the 'setup networking' I enter my passphrase, but it won't connect. I reboot into live Linux, enter the password, everything is fine.

It's sad I've now memorized my WiFi passcode :(

Any idea why my passphrase won't work during the install phase, but works fine on a live distro?

Did a re-install this morning, it took my passcode. Dunno what was happening yesterday.

Almost every time setup won't connect to WiFi. Had to connect via Ethernet instead

Please Help me!!!!!!
I have installed Kali Linux as a dual boot with my Windows Machine. Now I have to use the wifi adapter but trying so hard through google and terminal nothing goes well. Can someone please help me how to figure out the wifi adapter problems.
