Hello everyone,
I have an issue with GNOME. When I try to change settings via GNOME(for example set a proxy or turn on Bluetooth ) I catch an error:

(gnome-control-center:233105): dconf-WARNING **: 11:40:34.096: failed to commit changes to dconf: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnkn own: The name ca.desrt.dconf was not provided by any .service files

As I understand I should to have file /usr/share/dbus-1/ca.desrt.dconf but I haven't.

Also I try reinstall GNOME and change settings via dconf-editor and got the same error.
I find information about this issue only for NixOs (https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/issues/92319) but this advises didn`t help.

How to fix this? Thank you in advance.

Installing gnome on kali -> have coffee ?? tldr: tasksel has highest success rate getting gnome to work with kali

1. try fresh copy iso of kali. (i have tried all popular methods to install gnome and if they do not work first time they tend to make it impossible to successfully use gnome on kali)
2. Try tasksel (gogle: install gnome on debian using tasksel)
3. good luck

do you know how to install older version of gnome?

gnome42 on debian isn't ready and yet the repo for kali pulls the latest version which has issues, like no screenshot capabilities
