BCM57786 ethernet card not recognised

Hi, I live boot on my macbook pro and my ethernet card is not being recognised, it is a BCM57786, i did a bit of research and this card should be loaded by the tg3 module, I then tried to load the module tg3 by doing a modprobe tg3 but still, my eth0 does not pop up when I do 'ip a' command. Any solution will be greatly appreciated.
