Hello, i have an old laptop that i want to use as headless machine/server with Kali.
I managed it to start the laptop by "wake on lan" if the cover is opened.
If the cover is closed it starts by "wake on lan" too but it switches directly in
energy saving / suspend mode, so i can?t connect via ssh or remote desktop.
My goal is to start the laptop with closed cover, so the display won?t turn on
but i?ll be able to work on / connect to the laptop via ssh or remote desktop.
It?s an Acer xxxxxx Laptop. I also checked the Bios but didn?t find any helpful
setting.
Does anyone have an idea which files and settings i have to edit to make it work?
